Now you have a choice when you want to serve peanut butter on a sandwich or in a recipe.  You can choose great tasting Creamy SunButter® made from sunflower seed with no hydrogenated oil and 0% Trans fats.  Kids love the taste and you don’t have to worry about adverse peanut reactions.

SunGold Foods is a subsidiary of Red River Commodities, a processor of sunflower seed for the snack and bakery industries for more than twenty years.  Our processing plant in Fargo, North Dakota is a peanut-free plant and products are tested on a regular basis.  We grind specially selected and roasted sunflower seed into a nutritionally packed spread that is a direct peanut butter replacement; allowing for a great tasting, peanut-free and tree nut-free food.

Not only is Creamy SunButter® great tasting, it’s healthy for you!  It is packed with nutrition, including a full 27% of the adult requirement for Vitamin E, 8% of iron, double the fiber of peanut butter with the same level of protein, making Creamy SunButter® great food for an active, healthy lifestyle.

Allergen Statement:  SunButter® is produced in a peanut and tree nut-free facility. Our facility does not contain dairy or egg and is gluten free.  SunButter® is processed in a facility that also processes soybeans.

According to the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN), more than 12 million Americans – or four percent of the population – suffer from a food allergy. FAAN says that approximately 3.3 million Americans are allergic to either tree or peanuts, but while sunflower allergy is considered to be rare, “reliable figures aren’t available.”
